Black Friday. The period of overwhelming consumerism is here, and the domain industry has some offers that may be tempting for readers. Here, I’ve compiled eight offers from registrars and other domain industry companies that may be worth your while.
Table of Contents
DNAcademy
DNAcademy, the accelerated learning platform created by Michael Cyger, is offering $100 off the full DNAcademy course, plus some bonuses:
- A copy of Yogi Solanki’s ebook, entitled “Domain Outbound Marketing”
- A standard pass to January’s NamesCon Online event
- Access to two DNAcademy-only valuation sessions during NamesCon Online
- A Zoom holiday meet and greet for Black Friday registrants.
For full disclosure, I have worked with DNAcademy to help produce some content for DNAcademy members. Regardless of this, I would rate it as the most thorough course to help you become a better investor.
You can access the Black Friday event here*, which runs through until Cyber Monday (November 30th, 2020). *This is an affiliate link. If you’d rather not click it, you can simply go to DNAcademy.com and find the deal from there.
GoDaddy
GoDaddy is running a flash Black Friday sale with money off the registration fee for 18 domain extensions. The extensions include numerous “new gTLDs” including .CLUB, .LIFE, and .ONLINE.
However, the most interesting for many domainers might be GoDaddy’s .CO sale. Standard price .CO names are now $0.99. All information can be accessed on GoDaddy’s website.
Name.com
Similar to GoDaddy, Name.com is offering a number of discounts on domain registrations, particularly of new gTLDs, although .COM names are reduced to $7.99. Name.com also has a 50% off sale on a range of hosting, SSL, and email products. All details are available here.
Epik
Registrar Epik has also dropped the registration prices of tens of extensions. Again, new gTLDs seem to be the most heavily discounted, but there are also deals on extensions such as .CO, .VC, and .ME. Some of these are time-sensitive, according to Epik’s website.
NameCheap
NameCheap has pulled out all the stops for Black Friday this year. Until November 30th, NameCheap is offering a wide variety of deals. The standout deal is perhaps the $4.98 price for a .COM. There are also transfer deals including $6.98 for a .COM transfer. All deals are available at NameCheap.com*.

Dynadot
Dynadot is offering a .COM renewal deal at $8.20 for a year’s renewal. The company is also offering .NET and .ORG transfer deals as well as a wide array of registration offers. All offers and codes required can be found at Dynadot.
NameSilo
NameSilo is offering a .COM registration deal for $6.99 per domain. NameSilo also offers a $7.99 .COM domain transfer. As seems to be customary, there are plenty of new gTLD promotions happening, too. The offers are available here.
NamesCon
The global domain industry event provider, NamesCon, is offering a Black Friday deal of sorts for its NamesCon Online event happening in January. According to this tweet, the next 100 domainers to register for NamesCon Online will be entered into a raffle to win a free “plus one” ticket for a friend or colleague.
That offer is only valid for November 27th, 2020. To enter, you’ll have to buy a ticket.
