Brent Oxley’s Latest Acquisition: Brokerage.com

Brent Oxley has picked up another stellar name for his portfolio. After recently launching his new web hosting service on Create.com, the former Hostgator founder has continued to acquire some of the best .COM domain names around.

In recent months, Brent has acquired the likes of Bath.com, Confirm.com, and Sue.com. This week, he’s added Brokerage.com to his ever-expanding portfolio.

Brokerage.com is a highly versatile generic .COM that would be at home in countless industries including finance, domaining, and stocks.

At one point in time, Brokerage.com was active as a financial brokerage minisite, but more recently, the name has been up for sale with Uniregistry, according to WHOIS history. Again, based on WHOIS history from DomainIQ, the name looks to have been moved from Gandi to Uniregistry this year before moving to Brent Oxley’s NameCheap account.

With this latest acquisition, Brent now owns both Broker.com and Brokerage.com. According to NameBio, Broker.com was acquired for $375,000 in a deal brokered by Sedo.
