Another company made a significant one-word .COM domain acquisition recently as Pro Athlete Inc acquired Routine.com.
Pro Athlete Inc, based in Kansas City, Missouri, is an online retailer specializing in baseball bats and gloves. However, in late 2019 to early 2020, the company branched out by acquiring Routine Baseball LLC. According to BizJournals.com, Pro Athlete made the move to boost it’s flatlining revenue.
Pro Athlete has undoubtedly made a sizable investment in Routine Baseball, and the company has gone one step further by acquiring the domain Routine.com. Elliot Silver initially spotted the sale:
Looks like Reflex Publishing maybe have sold https://t.co/bR0LTeRuQO.

Pro Athlete acquired Routine.com from Reflex Publishing, a company that owns thousands of the most desirable short .COM domains in existence. Names owned by Reflex Publishing include Tea.com, High.com, and LN.com.
WHOIS data for domains owned by Reflex Publishing usually state that Reflex-owned names are not for sale, but the company has been known to sell. Earlier this year, for example, IBM acquired Acoustic.com from Reflex Publishing.
Pro Athlete has wasted little time moving Routine Baseball’s website from RoutineBaseball.com to Routine.com, just in time for the Black Friday sales.
