The $803,025 Buyer of Engage.com Also Acquired Invest.com

Last week, DNJournal’s Ron Jackson shared the news that broker Kate Buckley had successfully closed an $803,025 sale for the domain Engage.com. Buckley acted on behalf of the seller, Spark Networks USA.

After moving the name to Safenames Ltd, a traditionally-corporate registrar, the buyer wasted no time in developing the name into a chatbot service with the premise of allowing companies to engage with customers on all channels at any time.

It seems, though, that the $803,025 acquisition of Engage.com wasn’t enough for this buyer, as they have also just completed the purchase of Invest.com in what’s surely a seven-figure sale.

I reported on the possible sale of Invest.com last week, noting that the name was on its way to Safenames Ltd, although the buyer hadn’t been revealed at that point.

Now, the WHOIS information for Invest.com shows Koober Investments Limited as the new owner. The same Koober Investments Limited that now owns Engage.com.

The acquisition of both Invest.com and Engage.com by Koober Investments Limited adds to their portfolio of incredible, top tier .COM names. According to DomainIQ, these include:

  • Bank.com
  • Bond.com
  • Fund.com
  • Luck.com
  • Stay.com
  • Yoga.com
  • Asset.com
  • Stock.com
  • Stocks.com
  • Sport.com
