GoDaddy Sells for $350,000, Plus 8 More at $100,000 or Higher

Last year, GoDaddy started to share its domain name sales data for domain name sales facilitated by GoDaddy, either through its brokerage business or via its auction platform.

GoDaddy has now released its November 2020 domain sales. There’s always a delay in GoDaddy publishing these numbers, but it’s helpful to the domain industry to have a glimpse into what kind of sales GoDaddy does close.

The list of sales includes 9 sales at $100,000 or more.

The top sale disclosed by GoDaddy is, which sold for $350,000. The domain was acquired by WEESIE HOLDING BV, operated by Robin Weesie. Robin is a Dutch entrepreneur that already owns and operates

The domain sale was facilitated by GoDaddy on behalf of True Magic LLC, a domain investment company belonging to entrepreneur Merlin Kauffman, who is the CEO and founder of Soothe, a popular wellness company that has raised $78.3 million to date.

Some other interesting sales from GoDaddy include, acquired unsurprisingly by LinkTree, an Australian startup founded in 2016. To date, LinkTree has raised $55.7 million. As of writing, is forwarding to the company’s existing domain, is a rare publicly-disclosed six-figure sale at $107,217. NameBio will rank this as the fourteenth-largest .ORG sale ever. The name was acquired by non-profit organization Gradient Learning.

What looks like a brand new startup acquired for $100,000. Wingman is due to be a “security-minded messaging app,” but as of writing, the company’s app is yet to be launched.

Clear Street spent $125,000 upgrading from to The capital markets company was founded in 2019 and has raised $75 million to date.
