Exactly 7 years since the domain was registered, Vue.io has sold for $35,000 in a deal brokered by MrPremium.com.
MrPremium.com’s founder, Mark Ghoriafi, confirmed the sale to me, noting that the negotiation began with an $8,000 and slowly progressed to a $35,000 sales price, excluding Escrow.com’s fees.
The $35,000 price for Vue.io will put this as the largest three-letter, non-dictionary .io sale of all time, according to NameBio. NameBio also suggests that Vue.io would be the 3rd largest publicly disclosed, three-letter .io sale of all time, too, beaten only by Art.io and Sun.io.
Vue, a French word meaning “sight,” is a popular brand name, most notably used by the British cinema chain, Vue, which operates on MyVue.com. Vue.com is owned by Pearson VUE.
