Brent Oxley Sells Adopt.com

Entrepreneur and noted domain name investor Brent Oxley has amassed a portfolio that includes domains such as Broker.com, Document.com, and Hybrid.com. With such a set of sought-after domains under his ownership, Oxley receives many purchase inquiries.

One purchase inquiry resulted in a sale recently as Oxley successfully sold Adopt.com via his Efty marketplace. Oxley confirmed the sale with me today, but couldn’t reveal further details.

WHOIS history suggests that Oxley acquired Adopt.com early in 2021 from Castello Cities Internet Network, Inc. operated by brothers Michael and David Castello.

Adopt.com was purchased by Adopt, a French perfume brand founded in 1986. The company operates on Adopt.fr, the French ccTLD. As of writing, Adopt.com redirects to Adopt.fr. Will the company switch permanently to Adopt.com?
