Anyone following the domain industry in 2021 will have noticed the mammoth sales figures that have been achieved this year. DNJournal has done an excellent job of compiling the top 100 sales of this year, but how do this year’s figures compare with previous years?
To find out, I went back through five years’ worth of DNJournal’s sales data, measuring the top 100 sales chart for each year from 2017 to 2021. Below is the data I have compiled. Was 2021 a record-breaking year?
