The .io domain extension doesn’t have a new highest sale after a $240,000 deal fell through this week.
On February 9th, I reported on the $240,000 sale of Neon.io, a deal that was announced by the domain’s owner, James Booth, on Twitter.
Booth, a notable and highly skilled digital asset investor, announced the deal after successfully receiving the first payment from a $240,000 payment plan. Details of the payment plan were omitted from the announcement of the sale.
The deal, facilitated by domain marketplace SquadHelp, was canceled by the buyer after one payment. Neon.io is still under Booth’s ownership, and back on the market at a higher $349,999 asking price.
