This time last year, Yuga Labs was a little-known NFT brand preparing to launch its first project, the Bored Ape Yacht Club.
The company has had a wildly successful 12 months, with over $2.8 billion worth of Bored Apes, Mutant Apes, and BAKC assets traded. Yuga Labs followed this success with a $450 million funding round that valued the company at a $4 billion valuation.
Now, it looks as though Yuga Labs has made a strategic domain name upgrade in the form of Yuga.com.
Since launching, Yuga Labs has operated on YugaLabs.io, but the company recently switched its corporate site to Yuga.com.
Yuga Labs’ acquisition of Yuga.com may have happened as far back as December 2021, when the domain moved under Whois privacy protection to a Google Domains account.
Recently though, Yuga.com changed nameservers and began hosting Yuga Labs’ official site.
This is a smart acquisition from Yuga Labs.
What a snipe! Very savvy of them.
I bought one of these of crypto.com and I got ripped off. One these companies needs to work on their security, spent a lot of time and money, was pretty bummed
