We’re seeing several NFT-related ventures securing premium .com domain names. Recently, Novel, which brands itself “the Shopify for NFTs,” publicly launched on the Novel.com domain, and several other NFT industry participants, such as Candy Digital, at Candy.com, operate on premium names.
Another NFT project has secured its exact-match .com domain, too.
Cupcake, a company that “is closing the gap between digital and physical worlds,” has acquired Cupcake.com. Little is known about Cupcake, but it has been confirmed that the company acquired its exact-match .com, Cupcake.com, in an outright acquisition deal brokered by Lumis.
The company looks to have also secured Cupcake.io. Whois history suggests that Cupcake acquired both names from Apollic Software.
Have to love these crypto, NFT and Web 3 startups.
They really know how to secure premium domains with haste.
Blockchain related domain acquisitions continue.
