Last week, I published part one of a two-part series looking at the domain names that have been added to Brent Oxley’s portfolio recently. Here is part two.
Table of Contents
Strength.com
This phenomenal domain name, registered in 1998, was secured by Oxley in October 2022, according to Whois history. Strength.com, with over 7,900 backlinks, was previously home to a sports nutrition brand.
Enroll.com
Before entering Oxley’s portfolio, Archive.org shows that Enroll.com had previously been built out by an educational company called Enroll. The domain has strong associations with the education industry, and it would certainly suit several companies as a domain upgrade.
Notepad.com
Listed with a $700,000 minimum offer value at Oxley’s Efty marketplace, Notepad.com represents a generic, brandable name that would be perfect for a coding, development, or editing startup in particular.
Beekeeping.com
Beekeeping is becoming more popular, with Honey.com estimating 115,000-125,000 beekeepers in the US. Even the domain industry’s Shane Cultra has become something of a beekeeper, producing several lines of BeeHouse honey.
Large.com
Large.com, a domain name previously owned by investor James Booth, now sits in Oxley’s portfolio with a minimum offer value of $400,000. A generic domain indeed, but I’m struggling to see much end user activity for the “Large” brand name.
