Last week, the domain name RedX.com sold for $59,777 at an expiration auction at GoDaddy, leading many investors to speculate who the buyer is. At such a high sales price, many assumed that the new owner is an end-user. Those assumptions are correct.The WHOIS details for the RedX.com domain name have now changed to show the new owner is Green Seed Technologies, an incubation company based in Utah. One of Green Seed's most prominent brands is REDX, a piece of real estate software that has proved a hit amongst brokers.

HostGator founder turned domain investor Brent Oxley has a portfolio packed with ultra-valuable .COM domains. From Broker.com to Create.com, Brent has paid a significant sum for some of the best names in existence.It looks like Brent has added to that portfolio with the recent acquisition of Invite.com for a currently undisclosed fee. According to WHOIS history, the domain was acquired from FirstPlace Internet Inc, a Florida company that owns and operates a prized portfolio of names that includes Duplex.com, Troy.com, and Govt.com.

Mike Mann Announces $39,888 Sale of BloodBalance.com

Domain investor and founder of DomainMarket.com, Mike Mann, took to Twitter on Saturday night to announce his latest significant domain sale, that of BloodBalance.com for $39,888.According to Mike's tweet, he acquired the domain in July 2017 for $19, likely from an expired auction or a GoDaddy closeout listing. According to WHOIS history, the domain was owned by a doctor from California before it transferred to Mann's possession.

Meredith Sold the Money (Money.com) Brand for $24.9 Million

Let me start by saying that this isn't listed by Meredith as a pure domain name sale, so it wouldn't be eligible to rank on any domain sales charts. Founded in 1972, Money is a personal finance brand that thrived under the ownership of Time Inc. The brand smartly acquired Money.com in the early Internet era, but it took until 2014 for a dedicated Money.com website to be established.

Resolve Physician Agency Acquires Resolve.com via Sedo

Last week, a couple of investors noticed that the domain Resolve.com moved from its longstanding ownership at financial technologies company D+H Ltd into a Sedo holding account.

This one-word .COM has just moved out of Sedo's holding account and shows new WHOIS ownership information, signifying that the domain has been sold via Sedo. According to WHOIS, the new owner is the Resolve Physician Agency, a specialist employment agency for physicians.
